A NUDE FOR
3 JANAURY 2021
The history between Christian Louboutin and the Paris Golden Gate Palace goes a long way.
Born in the 12th district in Paris, Christian Louboutin was fascinated as a teenager by the beauty of this museum. In this palace of inspiration for the Mackerel and the Pigalle collections, The Christian Louboutin Expositioniste 2020 was presented.

The Nudes collection showroom creates a splendid visual effect by surrounding the nude mannequins made of 8 shades of leather by full-sized mirrors. Regarded as a pioneering act, the Nudes collection embodied the diversity and free spirit in all Christian Louboutin’s designs.
“I’ve always done the Nude high heels but only using beige. But then I realized that Nude doesn’t equal white. ”
- Mr. Louboutin
Then was born the Nudes collections, a spectrum of eight suited to any skin tone, from porcelain to deep chocolate. The Spring-Summer 2020 collection introduces new styles for women and men, including two unisex models. Not only is this an ode to diversity and inclusivity, but also a regardlessness of one’s gender and race, it’s now a part of the core value of the Christian Louboutin brand.
